Culinary Arts 1, First Quarter Update

 As we near the end of the first quarter here is an update on the goings on in Culinary 1.  

The students have been hard at work learning some of the basics of working in a commercial kitchen.  From names and uses of different pieces of kitchen equipment to how to set up a cooking station to of course, preparing the food, they are learning it all.

They have been baking bread, breaking down whole chickens and making salad dressings.  They have even learned how to safely pasteurize eggs.  We are very excited to see how these student progress through the school year.
